I having been thinking about getting the Ramen Tank. Mostly for the add ons. I’m hesitant in case Habro actually does make a Wolverine or Bridge Layer. I at first thinking that the Bridge Layer would be too big but obviously it is not. What are the odds a Wolverine or Bridge Layers is coming in the next 2 years? I assume if the bridge layer is a haslab than it will be at least 4-6? Not sure if it is even popular enough to make at all.

I never even noticed the window was a star shape until you mentioned it.

They take a couple of years to develop some stuff so packaging overlap is quite likely.. even more so on exclusives that could have been designed a long time before things released before them were out already.

I think I really miss the Airborne/Quick Kick / Techno-Viper style of packaging that slightly larger box allowed you to see the contents and have the character art more visible.

Where as a lot of Alpines parts (for example) are not even visible in the smaller box very easily.

We haven't seen this format since the very beginning of the year with Mutt & Junkyard and the Airborne / Big Boa / Techno Viper / Quick Kick waves.

This may be the very last item we get in this format. The Nemesis Immortal box is a bit different, and more in line with the box design for Road Pig.

I like that they're using the NECA-style velcro flap. Seems like they put a lot of work into this for the price. Nice box and what's basically a 'pet' plus an extra head hands for less than $40 is surprising for Hasbro.

Careful removing it. There's a mylar box wrap that usually will slide off and stay in the packing box when you remove the actual figure box.

That was my favorite packaging style, and of course ended up being the shortest packaging design in the line's brief history and only lasted a single wave. I think the current packaging is still nice, but the larger box was nicer and allowed you to see more and also showcased the spine art much better.

Man this is exactly how I feel.

That Airborne/Quick Kick wave had really nice packaging and since it was slightly larger they were still able to retain the character portrait on the front of the box as well as on the spine.

The Doc/Torch wave packaging is just a bit too small in my opinion, we lose the character portrait on the front of the box and everything just seems a tiny bit to cramped in the tray.

Figures that I bitched uncontrollably when windowed boxes went away and now that they are back I'm still bitching lol. But I really do think that the packaging for the Airborne/Quick Kick wave was the sweet spot that they should have stayed at.

Just saw the latest Mondo MOTU product and am grateful to be in a monogamous collecting relationship with GI Joe. Those figures are exceptional looking but more than I'd care to spend.

A bridge layer in the next 2 years? Odds are slim to none. We could possibly see a Wolverine, but even then I think Hasbro would do a MOBAT before a Wolverine. Mostly because we haven't seen a Steeler figure yet, and already have Cover Girl... makes me think that a Wolverine isn't on the radar at all (or at least wasn't when they made Cover Girl)
but the door was left open for a MOBAT and Steeler.
