This reminds me if those more articulated versions of the TMNT exclusives to Walmart that were sold out and all of a sudden I was driving to the airport like at 4:00am for a job related trip to Boston and when I checked the app, the Rocksteady and Leo pack in stock and I click immediately buy now... a couple of min after was sold out again...

Maybe the ones ordered during the pre-11am glitch were part of the in stock batch. I'm also seeing a charge for the one I ordered a little after 8 before they fixed it.

I would just keep the product page up and randomly hit F5 a bunch of times while online. I had gotten an order in during the initial release, but the package arrived so mangled (sent in a flimsy envelope), I kept on trying in the hopes of getting a better one (which ended up only being slightly better - the bubble wasn't cracked open). Can't remember if it was late on a Saturday afternoon, or after midnight when she popped up, as I also scored the retro Lady Jaye in the same manner.

The absolute worst were the Ninja Turtle movie sets. Eventually they turned up at retail, but I had to resort to ebay for all of them, save for the NECA exclusives, which had actual scheduled pre-sale windows. I was able to order was the Casey/April farm set from WM, but that's because it was the only one that was given a set release time.

Finished the GI Joe movie yesterday and I'm really looking forward to Cobra-La now. Hopefully we get a Golobulus reveal soon and they don't get staggered one by one for years.

I ordered mine at the 11am drop that day (I missed the news of the glitch batch).

Was just thinking, they must have had this Once a Man Cobra Commander developed for a good while. I know that it's a convention exclusive with a special lenticular, but otherwise the box is using the old format with the star shaped window and character artwork on the front.

We haven't seen this format since the very beginning of the year with Mutt & Junkyard and the Airborne / Big Boa / Techno Viper / Quick Kick waves.

This may be the very last item we get in this format. The Nemesis Immortal box is a bit different, and more in line with the box design for Road Pig.
