For those who have had theirs ship, where did they ship from?

Mine originated in Romeoville. Wondering if they are all in same spot. Interested to know if they did ship them all to SD and then back East afterwards. A lot of miles

I never understood the mentality of listing something at 90 dollars when ten people are already selling it in the same condition, with free shipping, for 75 dollars. If I'm going to list something I check out the selling & sold prices. If it's below what I'd settle for, I don't waste my time.

Romeoville here too. That's where most of their stuff comes from for me.

I'm not convinced they were toting around their whole batch across the country.

Well, couldn't make the midnight timeline here in Japan to try and nab a OAMCC - so here I am waiting on Godot again.

Hopefully as in past exclusives we get those 2 or so more times to try again and that as in those cases the supply allows for 12-18 hours of availability to mitigate global time zone sleep cycles.

It's just not feasible for me as a middle aged professional with a small child to make a midnight Tokyo time sale - so I am fingers crossed for another couple batches/sales...if Mindbender stood online for a day or so, OAMCC will likely too.

They would have to take it with them. At least back from SDCC. It is possible they had the items delivered to California and only transported them home after. Back during hasbro toy shop it was Chino, California I believe where the exclusives shipped from while regular items from HTS came from Pawtucket.

Can you imagine the backlash if they did not have all quantities available for people to buy at SDCC? They would never recover from that when it comes to exclusives.

All we know is a Hasbro employee said in a YouTube interview from SDCC that OAMCC was produced in Mindbender numbers. We know they sold 9,000 online and since it was a preorder none at SDCC. That does not seem like much to take from SDCC to its distribution center Romeoville.

Could explain why they do not list for a week after to get the transport back to its shipping center. A company like Mattel and S7 had items at SDCC but are both located in California so they listed theirs sooner.

I do go by the selling trends. eBay actually has this awesome program now where you can see 30-60-90 day trends as well as all-time average for the item.

In my example, it comes down to condition and completeness. If I see a 1986 BAT selling for $75 without a file card. If I have the file card then it is going to be more. As I said, at least with vintage toys, buyers tend to be repeat customers because they know the condition and quality they are getting.

Not long ago I sold a 1985 Heavy Metal figure sealed in the bag for $1200. Most figures with the mic go around $900-$1000 but you run the risk of getting a repro so collectors willing to spend a little more for quality.

Again, my reference is vintage stuff. Much harder to get $30 for a classified figure that others sell for $25.
