It definitely doesn't help matters that Hasbro and Pulse are both hot messes right now.

And now that I think about it, I bet the issue has to do with protections for Coming Soon products. I am surprised there are not back-end protections for it but maybe it is just an arbitrary status.

People want what they can't have. I'm convinced that some people purposely wait until something's sold out so they can pay double for it later and feel like it's even more special. Like the VAMP. It was up for preorder for weeks. Immediately after it shipped people were paying crazy prices for it without batting an eye.

I don't think anything will top the Chuckles code hysteria. I've never seen anything like that and he didn't sell out for a couple days after going live.

I'm wondering if this next batch of OAMCC will be made to order. They may take preorders all day long.

And as far as characters go, Chuckles isn't exactly on people's top 20 lists. Big Lob had a ton of lines, but never even got a figure, while Chuckles was almost forgettable, considering he had no lines, and just one brief, memorable scene where he was the focus. The only reason I ordered Chuckles myself last year was so I didn't miss out on being able to get all the Rawhides.

I agree, OAMCC isnt something i wanted or needed so i am thankful i did not get caught up in the pre-order craze that seems to over take many here, but i didnt with the other offerings as well, i passed on Serpentor, Mindbender, Chuckles and OAMCC, these were characters i simply didnt need or want in my collection, even the Haslabs i have went back and fourth on, only backing the HISS, i am unsure now if i will back the rattler, while incredible, its to big for my limited space and i can use that money for other things, like a Cobra Stinger which is more important to my collection than a Rattler, still time i might change my mind, but right now, i am passing on it.

Yea I found the Vamp craze to be insane.

I figure there are also a lot of people that are "waiting for a sale" and then when it sells out they have only themselves to blame for not getting one. That's when when it comes to this line I just preorder things I want. If I stumble across something that's a great deal later, then fine I might grab it, but if I want it, I'm not going to wait.
