I'm betting it'll be the one with the cover off. ;)

Sweet. Hate the subgroup's colors- but really looking forward to this Sarge. I got him at Amazon, hopefully they move up their date, too.
I'd really like that V3 version with the brown vest that came with the Armadillo. |

It?s funny because I don?t honestly mind this subteam?s colors but I don?t like this Sarge. I hate how they colored the pants on this release. I wish the original Sarge was still cheap to do a leg swap

Well that's good news. That's at minimum 15+ days earlier than somewhere in September.

A bit of advice for anyone selected for this year's upcoming focus groups: be prepared. They're going to ask you very basic questions, but you'll be in a call with 3 or 4 other participants most likely. So don't stammer, or ramble or take forever with your answers because they have a lot to get through in a short amount of time. Most importantly: have opinions. Don't say "I don't know" or "that was never one of my favorites". Give solid feedback or else you're wasting your slot.
First off, they'll probably ask you what your favorite vehicles were as a kid. Have a list of 4 ready, and be able to explain your top choice. Then they might ask what vehicle that you'd most want to see as a Haslab, and what features you would want. Be ready to rattle those off. When they finally show you the samples of their 4 (most likely) choices, and the tiers, don't be afraid to say what you do and don't like about each thing. On my call last year, at least two of the other guys were dead quiet unless called on by name. They will call on each person individually at times, but sometimes they just open a question up to whoever wants to talk. I wasn't trying to dominate the conversation, but when they got quiet, I felt like I had to speak up and voice my opinions. When they show the three versions of each vehicle, they'll ask what price you'd expect to pay. Be reasonable with your guesses. We've had a few good vehicles come out to retail this past year, so it should be easier to pin down a price point. For the sake of all the fans, take it seriously. It may amount to nothing. Or changes could be made based on enough people having similar feedback. I know last year when they showed the Rattler, they had Pilot Cobra Commander as the second tier. I said that that probably wouldn't go over well since we had a Cobra Commander with the Hiss tank, and he was never really a pilot. I preferred to see a Pilot Baroness since she flew Rattlers a lot in the comics. Did my feedback matter or was it just a coincidence? Who knows? But I felt better for saying it. Specific to this, think of characters you want to see figures of that haven't been released (or iterations of figures you'd like to see released). Like Ford says, you're likely to be asked for specifics, and this is the time for you to shine if you're the person who wants to recommend Ninja Force or Eco Warriors or Overkill or Headman or, or, or. Please take time to think through those deep cuts in advance - that's what they're paying you for.

My guess is that invites for questionnaires get sent out at random to people that have bought a Haslab, or just buy on Pulse. Just a hunch though. How you answer those questions determines if you get selected for a group.

A good amount of you responded to my "Will we ever get this guy?" post. As you may have noticed, everyone on my list was black. Hasbro should start including more POC. Some on my list are really really cool. Hopefully Hasbro steps up.
That said ... here's my whiteboy list. Will we ever see these guys? Steam-Roller Keel-Haul Crankcase Cross-Country Armadillo Wild Card Backblast Salvo Overlord Barricade T'Jbang Night Creeper Leader Effects Space Shot Big Brawler Sideswipe Horror Show Laser Viper Ice Storm Sgt. Major Duncan |

Here's a scenario for you (begin rampant speculation):
Hasbro produced OAMCC in good quantity, however they paid for "fast shipping" from Asia for enough inventory to comfortably fulfill demand at SDCC. The rest of the inventory is coming via the "slow boat" which is why it's a September pre-order. Sound plausible? It will be interesting to compare the date stamps between the SDCC and September versions, to see if they were from the same batch or were manufactured months apart...
