Looking at the trend in 2024 you might be right.

Target went from Cobra Island to Python Patrol to Tiger Force single figures to now getting 2 packs and vehicle packs as their exclusives. They also sell main release single, deluxe and pet figures.

Did some additional mods to this guy to get him looking closer to the unreleased original.

Flesh tone hands go a long way to makin this guy look more like a Joe. I also swapped the dumbbell in the neck for a spare one I had from Dusty (his head sits too high already). Perfection.

Tiger Force is lookin mean now. (in a good guy way, ha)

The profit margins are hideously for Pet 2 packs and
Deluxe offerings like Metalhead.
10 Dollars for pieces and 20 Dollars for a Pet
is a King's ransom.


So I personally think Hasbro is the one developing and offering
these Pet packs, Vehicles, Deluxe Figs, not vice versa because it fits with
their corporate strategy of trying to push Deluxe Price point up sells.

I'm hoping Walmart and Target graduate from repaint exclusives like Tiger Force, Python Patrol, and Night Force - and instead start doing 'later era' exclusive waves: DEF, Sky Patrol, Ninja Force, etc. They can kitbash a lot of those later figures out of existing tooling with minimal new parts.

These are the very same 6 I pulled from that list into my own assessment of "likely to be made in Classified" as well.

Depending on how they translate/update, I am potentially in for as many as 5 of those 6.

Repeater is also very high on my wish list, but I just don't see how they could do him right. The most notable thing about him is that he had a smart gun from aliens for a weapon. Can't do that now due to copyright obviously, but if you just give him a random gun instead, then what's the point?
