It really is not rocket science. The one thing that has been thrown around more this year by Lenny and Hasbro is budget. If a regular figure costs $25 and a 2 pack is $55 instead of $50 it helps their budget to offer figures at the $25 price or a vehicle at a lower price.

The price of the 2 packs, the one less figure in the HasLab are both indicators the budget has become the focus of the line in 2024. As soon as those stop selling along with the deluxe and pet sales decreasing, we will see even more skimping on items, HasLabs or a basic price increase.

Then the deluxe, pet and 2 packs become vital with that. It would appear that those are the biggest profit margins.

I was using the $30 as an example. Nothing indicates that will be happening.

The pet figures are often discounted by $10 which should be their normal price to begin with. That's the only time I'd buy any of them. Never paying $55 for a 2-pack neither.

Whoa doggie, Frag-Viper is going to be fun! I always loved his bug-like alien helmet and the unique brown, aquamarine and black colors too.

I really can't wait to see all the different Cobra troopers in this line! They've barely scratched the surface.

Apt comparison - definitely a 4-LOM and Zuckuss type of vibe going on with that Frag Viper helmet, coloring and armament.

Kind of like how the original two packs with Joe Vs Cobra was dictated by Walmart back in the day. Do Walmart and Target feel that figures with a pet soften the army-guy/shoot-em-up-ness of a GIJoe toy line? And do they simply want an item at that pricepoint?

What are the costs that a big retailer pays on $25 figs versus $35 and $45 figs? What are the margins? Does anyone know or are those pretty guarded?
