I absolutely despise figure stands. I feel like they are so distracting and destroy any world building illusion.
I'm not having any issues with mine toppling over. However, they do have a lot of shit on em so you need to hunch em forward to balance them. Nothing is worse than Coil Baroness in my opinion. I'll just have her leaning on Destro for all eternity until we get a proper black suit replacement. Interestingly, my Coil Baroness has been standing and collecting dust since she went on the shelf (4)? years ago now. I don't think she's ever toppled over once. |

Busted Gnawgahyde out of the package and thought I'd need the jaws of life. It was my first time opening something in the new packaging and the plastic is industrial strength. Seriously thought something would break.
Anyone know what kind of pig Porkbelly is supposed to be? Wild boar or warthog? I'm thinking warthog since he has the African safari look going on. |

Boars roughly look like hairy Fur covered pigs with small curled teeth tusks sometimes. Warthog's have that distinctive raised Curved Tusk look.

I was wondering since yojoe.com calls the ARAH version a boar, but it looks more like a warthog.

I would rather them take their time and get everything set so the ordering process goes smoothly. Who knows is the website/app can handle the foot traffic that might come when they are dropped. Maybe they will do a stagger drop with GI Joe, Star Wars and Marvel all going at different times. We know the Marvel time due it being a fan channel. The other 2 brands are not that wide spread.

I've seen this said but nothing official. If they knew they'd be putting some up on Pulse it seems like they'd have some set aside for that rather than spending money transporting them across the country. |

Understood. Yeah, the communication has been abysmal.
Even the Marvel Legends Sentinel set was a bad launch. Not nearly enough stock. Hasbro needs to learn from Bandai and just do a MTO for "X" number of days then after that they can cut it off at any time. (MTO - Make to Order for those not familiar) Seems to work great for Bandai. And they didn't botch the Sentinels. They let people know exactly when they were going up a day ahead of time. And they were available for a while. Legends dosent inherently haplentyve a lot of army builders and the Sentinels were a great set. I'd say most collectors bought more than one. They lasted a while so I would say they made . |

Unless they had a few trailers full at SDCC then this will be the most limited one yet.
I've seen this said but nothing official. If they knew they'd be putting some up on Pulse it seems like they'd have some set aside for that rather than spending money transporting them across the country. There were several users here in attendance and they confirmed they had stacks and stacks of the figures at SDCC. That info coupled with the Pulse representative saying at SDCC that OAMCC will be produced in the same range as Mindbender as opposed to a preorder like Chuckles seems to fit Hasbro's MO. Other companies obviously did it differently like Mattel, which listed its SDCC items online when the convention started. As did Funko so it seems more likely they did not have all of their stock on hand. If you collected during the 25th era (mid-2000s) there were several occasions where an item did not make it online to HasbroToyShop following the convention because all the stock was sold at SDCC. It is a wait and see what happens since Hasbro went back to having physical items on hand this year.

Hasbro is trying that with the upcoming Marvel Legends Dragon Man. They tried it before with Star Wars but im not sure how successful it was.
