For the Rattler, I'm already planning on customizing a cobra ground crew figure out of Scrap Iron's buck. Swap the vest with the grenades for the red harness from one of the 788 Figures. (probably not great for aircraft maintenance crew to have grenades hangin off em) Then I'll use the extra alternate head that comes with the soon to be unlocked Rattler Gunner figure, add a cobra helmet or other headgear and we're rockin' and rollin'.

I am just going to use the Cobra troops as my ground crew for mine.

I am pretty confident they have something up their sleeve for it. With the Dragonfly pushed back to December they can release figures in early 2025 for it.

The irony if they make Ketchup and Mustard in classified scale.

I think also I wouldn't mind (in reference to the 12" line) if they did a Female Helicopter Pilot (with the same Haley Berrie and Katheryn Mulgrew looking heads the originals had) and a Male Transport or Jet pilot that is more of a direct reference to the 12" figure of yore. (Though it doesn't have to be Orange).

I wouldn't be especially surprised though if they do a Pilot and it is a woman though.. since they have a lot of the gear to use on one already.
But they also have a lot of that on Ripcord too arguably.

I can see the argument for a female pilot - I just would like a male Pilot as a complement to any army building of future aircraft toys and also as a "generic" complement to anything Sky Patrol they might make at some point.

I can very easily see them doing a female Pilot and a Male "deck" sailor though. I am perfectly fine for them to just keep doing the generics I get a lot of use out of the Action Soldier as it is already.. and to be honest if they want to do a Male (not a Sniper) Marine now they are slowly transitioning back to more green tones in the Uniforms (as an option or standard ) i'd be well up for that too.

That is one of the things I like a lot about Gi Joe that it likes the colour green more than the real Military seems too up until quite recently.

Not that I am going to not be very happy indeed with a Sandy Clutch figure at some point.

I wonder when they do make a sandy deco Clutch if he should have a very subtle camo on his trousers ? or just stick with the accent panels.

I am hopeful that we get the sandy deco 1988 Vamp II over the muddy Brown one as I think that just "works" better for the brand past present and future potential (and is also handily more like the cartoon deco too).

Whereas if they made the Mud Brown 1984 one it would be a stand alone piece.. I can see why they might decide on the Mud Brown as it is after all more distinct to the Tiger Sting... but I don't think they'd be prepared to make both.

(like how they actually redecorated the Transformers Character Metal Hawk for his re-release in similar but different colours) if they did that with the Vamp II I'd be perfectly happy with that... but are they set up to do that... wouldn't people scream the place down if they did ?

& wouldn't it realistically be considered an entirely different product anyway ?

That said I do like both.. I just think the sandy deco is more useful long term.

Incidentally I am wondering if they won't use the traditional beetle wing doors as they can't without it getting in the way of the wind screen or the wing mirrors.. meaning any VAMP II we get is likely to have Stinger style doors.. or maybe a double himge on the doors - an entirely new door frame and the wing mirrors might have to be moved too.

But with Hasbro they might just re-use the Stinger Doors unfortunately.

To be honest I can't say i'd be that upset if they made this deco as it might be the nicest one of them all and adding that extra effort with the camo is I'd say enough to make people double dip.
