I do agree that it will probably be awhile before we get either of those standard deco releases as to give breathing room between the Haslab and Halo Jumper releases.

It's kinda tricky I like Crazylegs but I can't honestly say if his standard deco is more or less saleable that the green Ripcord would be... in an odd way Hasbro kinda got in their own way by making the Halo Jumper green and as for https://www.yojoe.com/action/int/argsokerk.shtml a figure that was sold as both a Grunt repaint in tan and a Ripcord repaint in tan.

Well Tan Ripcord isn't the world's worst idea for the short term even if it is sold as 'Sokerk' as there was a normal Tan Grunt so that would allow both to be made (at some point).

Assuming they were looking for complementary things for the VAMP II or a Desert RAM at the point those are made.

I like Crazylegs and wouldn't be at all bothered if he was in a standard deco two pack with either Ripcord or a Paraviper with the parachutes included.

But I can't help but think that Ripcord has more customising potential than Crazylegs. I don't mind to much if they don't include the Parachutes so long as there are some about for you to use with whoever.

I wouldn't be surprised if someone on etsey makes better ones pretty soon that are stronger and bigger and fold without creasing.

Ironically I saw someone selling a huge bag of camo glasses cleaning clothes a few months back many of which were camo which would have been idea to make parachutes out of as it is a non-running fabric quite light weight easy to sow. I might "for fun" see what I can make once I see how the fittings on the actual figure work.

We seem to get accessories later on sometimes that suit earlier figures.. perhaps they can include something nice with the Rock Viper or Hit & Run that can make Alpine even better.

Sky Hawk needs to happen. ASAP. One of my favorite Joe vehicles.

I watched that linked video of Lenny showing off the Rattler. Someone else raised this point a million pages back, but it looks like only the gun & canopy rotate for the gunner module. The pilot remains pointing forward, and the instrument panel pointing backward. They don't appear to rotate with the gun/canopy. So you can have the guns pointing backward to ward off a pursuer, but the gunner will still be facing forward. I'm sure the electronics restrict them from having the gunner spot rotate 360desgrees but hopefully, they're able to adjust that with the actual production version.

Plenty of Turrets work like that.. not everyone ever designed actually has the gunner move. for example some chin guns on bombers had the bomb-aimer in control of a powered turret that they were above of not inside of to keep the profile lower.

I don't think the Rattler's fuselage is big enough to have someone seated in it (like in a chair) they likely sit legs extended without the knees bent instead.. also the original is just like that the turret and gun moves the gunner doesn't.

It actually isn't "wrong" just 'less typical' The B-29 for example had unmanned turrets controlled by someone located in a special compartment. & the B-25 also had Remotely operated turrets too.

So what we have is a little unusual I guess.. but not exactly "wrong".
