The line with flocked hair ended in '76 and I never saw those as a kid, but did play with 1/6 vehicles at my grandparents' house left over from their kids.

Crazy how they had vehicles for 12" figures back then and people could actually afford them. Well, maybe not crazy because they were made for kids. I remember that Jeep looking so huge I wanted to ride in it. lol

Agreed he is @ list all the way hes not my top character but hes in the top ten and how could anyone argue he has more figures/comics-mini series/movies named/themed after him than anyone else .

I?m working on a munita as we speak. And if the past is any indication , as Hasbro pulls some ideas from customizers here, I?ll make sure she is top notch.

To be fair, back in the 70s and 80s G.I. Joe figures were around $1.50 $2.00, most people in that time made minimum wage of $3.25, gas was less than a dollar, inflation over the last 40 years has been crazy, but minimum wage in some states is $15.00, federal minimum now is $7.50 i think, so wages arent necessarly keeping up with price increases.

(I made the same mistake with the Star Wars Power of the Force line in 1985. I only bought Lando for some reason - and left Carbon Frozen Han and Storm Trooper Luke on the pegs at Meijer. They went on to be soooo valuable!)
