Being a vintage collector also, I remember just before Classified came out that the prices for 80's figures on ebay were through the freaking roof. Last time I checked they appeared to have at least levelled off somewhat which I would think Classified has something to do with. I wonder, for those vintage collectors here, how has Classified affected your vintage purchases? I only have so much to spend and Classified isn't cheap, so I probably spend only about 5% of what I used to on vintage, and that is just mainly the odd vehicle.

I don't believe I've bought a single $35 deluxe at this point and haven't paid over $35 for the pet figures. I'm sure Hasbro knows there's a balance of those who preorder everything at full price and those who pass or wait for a sale so it all works out.

I feel like Sneak Peek could easily be a regular figure, depending on how they approach the design for his scope accessory. I think it could easily fit inside the regular packaging tray (they can bundle it underneath). Other than his scope, he doesn't have much else. A rifle, helmet with mic, goggles, communication radio, some binoculars and they can give him a knife and a pistol too so he can defend himself better lol

I was 100% convinced Doc was going to be a deluxe release and then he wasn't, so who really knows?

Yeah given the accessories I am surprised Doc was a basic figure due to the stretcher alone.

The whole wave (Doc, Torch, Night Creeper, Jinx) was maximum effort. I love to see it, and IMO it was the best assortment yet. Every figure was a home run and Doc & Night Creeper were loaded with gear.

Got the Slaughters Marauders two pack.

The figures look fantastic. Both the originals are some of the best Joes ever made on classified. These aren't better but are equal and great repaints. Lowlight looks fantastic. Spirit looks great too in these colors but the original is one of the best classifieds ever made so its hard to beat. For some reason mine has flimsy lower legs and I need to tighten them up a little with glue. And the plastic overall seems lower quality than the original. That said what stands out is the paint. In the pictures the neon green looks very bright. But in reality it pops less and is more faded and looks fantastic with the other colors. Really does give it a slight camo feel.

The one knock is something that we've beaten a dead horse about, but in this case is really pronounced. Those flimsy ass weapons. I had to heat and straighten some and even then, the quality of plastic on Spirits sniper rifle is unacceptable. His knives are soft as baby diapers. This doesn't help the choice of loadouts which make no sense for either of them. I ended up giving lowlight spirits rifle and spirit the outback stuff. That stupid nerf gun is unusuable, will wait for Gnawgahydes rifle to give it to lowlight until the marine becomes avaible and I get two or I find a suitable rifle from etsy.
