I am way more in favor of Stalker than Duke, but Stalker was an E-5. Duke was an E-8.

You're right Wedge. When I looked up their ranks I pulled from Joepedia which lists E-9. Any idea why? You're more of an expert than anyone around here.

Filecard ranks don't match how characters are typically portrayed in the comics.

Stalker, in particular, is an E-5 in V1, same as Rock n' Roll, Scarlett, Snake Eyes, and Grand Slam. Steeler and Hawk are the only officers in the O13 and would outrank everyone else.

V2 and later Stalker is listed as an E7. Duke is usually listed as an E8.
Interestingly, Gung Ho and Leatherneck are both E7. Shipwreck is a CPO which I believe is the Navy equivalent of an E7.

Beach Head is only an E6.

The RPG specifically calls out the command structure and says G.I. Joe is fluid and different people lead depending on the situation.
