I would pair Duke w/ Roadblock and Flint w/ Beachhead, if I was using your character choices. Duke and Roadblock debuted together in the comics, so I would stick them together. Flint and Beachhead, while a year apart, at least are from another round(or two) of recruits.

Understandable and it was a 'tough' choice for me, but my thought process was, Beachhead and Flint would likely clash, and I think he goes better with the no-nonsense of Duke, not to mention that if Duke eeks out Flint, I think that Beachhead eeks out Roadblock in terms of hierarchy.

Hmmm.

I'll have to think about why I group things the way I do... I think a lot of the time it might be something simple like "Girl's Night out"
or everyone that is green gets to be friends (Even Tiger Force Dusty). & Everyone who isn't is the class rejects (i.e. Shipwreck & Barbeque).

The 788 Fire team and friends kinda encourages the idea of grouping by a loose colour theme too. But I am prepared to be quite flexible on that point.

The Fire Team and the SMS being specifically tied to the HISS makes me wonder if they'll do anything similar for the Dragonfly or Rattler. They couldn't exactly pair a ground squad or an artillery trailer with those vehicles, but it would be interesting to see if they come up with something.
