I do not even remember a Colonel Sharpe. I know that I watched the cartoon, but I have very few lasting memories of it. It seemed to me that my favorites were supplanted, and nothing matched the file cards. I do not think I had access to many of the comics right away, but I knew that the cartoon was off.

Personally, I view it as-

Flagg > Hawk > Team Leaders Stalker/Duke/Flint, with Scarlett/Beachhead/Roadblock as their respective seconds.

If I remember right, even those are sometimes inconsistent within their own media and each other and aren't always accurate or make sense or reflect real-world military grades and rankings.
