Regarding Fridge, there is nothing that has happened over the past four years that would make me think anything is out of the realm of possibility. We got a single pack Nunchuck, an in-scale HISS and Dragonfly, we're getting Raptor, Starduster, Glenda and Quarrel. We have two Sarges and DT got her wish down to a tee. Why wouldn't Fridge be on the table?

I see this idea come up quite a bit but I've not seen any evidence of this with older collectors. It's not like we got the OG13 back in the day and stopped collecting GI Joe.. why would we now? We want them because they are the original team members of GI Joe. It's not like we're all just sitting around waiting to buy 13 specific figures.

There is zero chance this is some plan by Hasbro to keep us on the hook.

Yea, I dont think this is some conspiracy from hasbro, we have gotten over half of the OG13, only missing Zap, Flash, Short-Fuse and Steeler, and assuming next years Haslab is a joe tank of some kind, lets assume its the MOBAT, that would solve the Steeler issue and purhaps the decide, that the other 3 would be unlocks, but that said, Flash, Short-fuse and Zap would make great regular line releases, there is just so many characters from so many different years, plus they have made a couple unique to the line figures, it will take time to get everyone.

I note the CLAW Pilot seems to have The Hiss Gunner's Gauntlet too.

I also noticed the Twilight Guard is almost a pre-paint for some other figures with what he contain parts wise (as well as the re-used Gung Ho parts).

I get what you're talking about here but I do not think there are very many fans who are that passionate about the 82 releases and NOT just as if not more passionate about at least the next few original waves. Like you, I also don't know, but I think they smartly focused on a lot of core figures to draw people in, and as the line remains popular they can keep expanding into the fringe ranks and deeper cuts.

Having said that... as has been discussed here multiple times, the nice thing about ARAH is everyone has their favorites. Not everyone would choose silver pads Grand Slam with JUMP station if they could pick just one more figure to be made, nor do I suspect many are looking forward to Short-Fuze as much as me, but for me it's not just those core figures but having this sort of level of detail for the entire team. I would have called you crazy if five years ago you had said I'd be excited to have Raptor, but here we are.

Rich is a great guy, i have had the pleasure of getting to know him and he is fun and knows his stuff, he just bought out a couple hobbie stores here in town and is consolidating to his store, i joked with him that if he keeps buying more places he will need to rent the old ollies next door just for his RC store, and each weekend now he turns that big parking lot out front into an RC car race track, even had a small toy convention there awhile back, so he seems to be doing well, even getting into lego distribution

He told me he was having that convention and he had some ex pro wrestler there .. hes moving up even since he got out of that old corner store 2 stores over .. he is a good guy .. and a big nerd like the rest of us are ..
