Growing up in the 70's, I chuckled at the idea of taking this topic and applying it to the WWII plastic army men most of us grew up with as kids, that are still hanging on pegs (or in buckets) today.

I'm surprised retro Beach Head didn't come with an alternate unmasked head. Still hope for a Retro Barbecue or Shockwave with an unmasked head. I'll say again - BAD GUYS mask their faces - GOOD GUYS don't.

I wouldn't be surprised if, like Duke, a v2 Retro SE gets a bit of an overhaul. There's plenty they can do to differentiate it from the modernized v2 look of the 00 figure. We've seen as much with fellow Tankers throwing him on the Diver buck and adding the gray straps from the SE & Timber set. It's not "ideal," per say, but it's an example of things that can get him looking closer to the original ARAH figure.

Presumably everyone in Gi Joe is an orphan as otherwise Cobra would be immediately kidnapping their families and using them as human shields in their facilities.

A lot of recent comments are pretty good indicators of how good we have it with Classified right now. When things are really good it seems to be human nature to look for literally anything wrong... even on the most insanely intricate levels.

This was on Mark Weber’s mind when he developed Tombstone. He knew that most Cobras hid their identities and wanted Tombstone to be the vain terrorist who deliberately wanted the world to see his face as he committed his acts if terrorism (the face of Cobra if you will?my words, not his).

Apparently, he was pretty upset when the designer them gave him a scarred face, especially given how many Cobras were already disfigured (including the other Cobra in that wave,
Stiletto).

Hopefully, Lenny and company can rectify this with a Classified release (and give Stiletto a dead, milky eye if and when they get to her too).
