I'm gonna say it: Wild Weasel is a sexy beast.
The one thing that bugs me though? The map/notes on his thighs should be upside-down, since the idea is that he uses them for reference when he's sitting in the cockpit. Wonder if that'll be changed before release. |

I hope so but I doubt it'll be fixed.

🤔 I could've sworn I saw them the right way in different pictures earlier today. Hopefully they can fix that.

If it's brought to their attention, I don't see why they couldn't be fixed. It's just a tampo hit, and this thing just funded a few days ago. Plenty of time. Just gotta send it up the chain.

Do you think the Rattler will deliver in 2025? Or are we looking at Late Spring / Summer 2026?

I think already having a full model with working lights to show is a great sign, and the estimated delivery is Fall 2025. I think they could definitely make that deadline. Though I'd totally accept a delay if they happen to decide the package needs a 4th figure...

Yeah, I'm trying not to be bothered about it but there are moments where I have to talk myself off the ledge.
There are small nuances and then there are glaring red flags, all of which could be largely avoided if Hasbro would have consulted a military advisor or liasion. It is widely understood that G.I. Joe Classified is a fictional line and so there are no rules applied. However, I don't agree to that notion when it comes to their 60th Anniversary Action line. All four of those releases now are a gross misrepresentation of the original Action releases and an even worse nod to the real world military unit types that they are named after, the worst being the Action Marine Sniper. I'm bothered that they used a line from the Air Force Song to market the Ratter, a fixed wing aircraft assigned to a terrorist organization. I'm bothered that they can't even orient Wild Weasel's thighboard panels correctly. I'm bothered that the Baroness is donning 4-inch heels as part of her flight suit kit. I'm bothered that the 60th Action Soldier is kitted with a double barrel M-4 type rifle... a fucking double barrel 5.56 primary weapon system that no U.S. Armed Service would ever employ. I'm bothered by a company that is continuing to neglect the obligation to do the simplest of research for their actual military branched representations. I can care less about the 95% of the fictional character line, but either show some semblance of respect for their 60th Action line or fucking don't touch it. Having served 20 years myself and having done some time as part of an Airborne unit, I am moderately annoyed. But I have perspective that Hasbro is just a civilian company with their #1 goal being profit, so in the end I can't lose sleep over it. It's just a disappointing toy line. Maybe I should start a company myself, making 12" action figures that represent Fire Fighters and EMT... but I'll kit their loadouts with "tacticool" accordions and mortar trowels. |

There won’t be a fourth figure. This Haslab is doing gangbusters. That said, what would you want the fourth figure to be? I don’t think a figure associated with the Night Raven would make any sense at all. What are the options? A ground crew
Doesn’t make sense without ground crew equipment. Maybe repaint the 60th Halon figure as a cobra paratrooper? Maybe working parachutes for the pilot and gunners. It makes total sense if you watched. Your share of GI JOE cartoons. |
