I don't think you are the only one man... I'm also on board with ThunderCats so I pre-ordered those lighting eye versions, the Falcon double pack at Walmart, The new WCW version of the Ultimate Warrior and a couple of red exclusives MOTU Horde Troopers...

Regarding The Fridge, I saw a picture of Lenny wearing a lanyard that had Fridge printed on it. Part of me wishes they would do an old-school mail away haha

"Airbourne" not meaning the same thing as Airforce isn't the only thing Lenny is confused about
He also doesn't know the difference between a cinderblock and a breezeblock Cinderblocks being quite fragile and crumbly and literally made out of "cinders" cast into a shape so yes one of them would shatter if you hit the wrong thing with it. Breeze blocks though can be made out of concrete or reinforced concrete. the reinforcement could be metal or just gravel. but they are a lot stronger and much much heavier. Sometimes the Breeze blocks are molded to solidly lock together too. I have some in my garden as planters and despite being not any bigger than the Hiss tank they are nearly impossible to lift without a great deal of effort. Where as a Cinderblock is so light your dog could run off with one. So I would say that Hammer is a concrete breeze block not a cinder block hammer . //// I agree it is kinda odd that Hasbro forgot to mention the rotor span of the DragonFly But the length is : 34.09 inches/865.79 MM long from the tip of the front turret barrel to tail & the rotors are about about 2 inches shorter than the total length so I would guess the Dragonfly would be 32" inches wide with the rotors at a right angle to the body. So pretty much identical to the Rattler in width (with the wings out). The folded width of the Rattler is 15.26 inches & as the engines can tilt the wings can be horizontal and folded back at the same time so the height would only still be 9.88 inches regardless So a folded up fully Rattler is : 10" tall, 15" wide and 34" long compared to the minimum dimensions of the Dragonfly that are : 14" tall, 11" wide and 34" long Hiss that are. 11" tall, ?? Wide and 19" long Last edited by RedAlert Rescue; 07-28-2024 at 11:55 PM.. |

To have Fridge on a lanyard when you have to pay him royalties and handing out stickers? Make it make sense

Here you are!
Also, today they folded one of the wings, so I shot this as well as I don't know if it has already been referenced.

I can't wait for the giant Kickstarter compendium to come out. Finally going to catch up on the entire story.

Haslab photos show the sigil on the right arm. Not sure I saw it in any of the SDCC pics.
So is anyone else bothered by the whole Cobra Airborne thing? Not to get too technical, but airborne are ground forces delivered by aircraft. The aircraft are part of the air force. I feel like that's a pretty universal concept for militaries around the world. There are small nuances and then there are glaring red flags, all of which could be largely avoided if Hasbro would have consulted a military advisor or liasion. It is widely understood that G.I. Joe Classified is a fictional line and so there are no rules applied. However, I don't agree to that notion when it comes to their 60th Anniversary Action line. All four of those releases now are a gross misrepresentation of the original Action releases and an even worse nod to the real world military unit types that they are named after, the worst being the Action Marine Sniper. I'm bothered that they used a line from the Air Force Song to market the Ratter, a fixed wing aircraft assigned to a terrorist organization. I'm bothered that they can't even orient Wild Weasel's thighboard panels correctly. I'm bothered that the Baroness is donning 4-inch heels as part of her flight suit kit. I'm bothered that the 60th Action Soldier is kitted with a double barrel M-4 type rifle... a fucking double barrel 5.56 primary weapon system that no U.S. Armed Service would ever employ. I'm bothered by a company that is continuing to neglect the obligation to do the simplest of research for their actual military branched representations. I can care less about the 95% of the fictional character line, but either show some semblance of respect for their 60th Action line or fucking don't touch it. Having served 20 years myself and having done some time as part of an Airborne unit, I am moderately annoyed. But I have perspective that Hasbro is just a civilian company with their #1 goal being profit, so in the end I can't lose sleep over it. It's just a disappointing toy line. Maybe I should start a company myself, making 12" action figures that represent Fire Fighters and EMT... but I'll kit their loadouts with "tacticool" accordions and mortar trowels. |
