Maybe it's just that they didn't have a proper livestream to reveal it? The Dragonfly blew me away when Lenny was spinning it around - showing off pieces and parts. That's really been missed on the Rattler so far. Hopefully they do properly highlight it with a livestream before it's over. I have a feeling it would eliminate my concerns.

I want to see the Rattler next to the Dragonfly next to the Hiss Tank. Surprised they didn't show it off this way.

Edit - in the end, I'll probably back it just to get Wild Weasel. Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to sell of the Plane, Gunner, and Baroness.

I agree that the whole rollout of the Rattler was bungled pretty badly. I was pretty annoyed and frustrated that day after Hasbro jerked us around for 8 hours or so in order to cater to the masses of SDCC. Have I mentioned I absolutely hate SDCC?

So far, the Dragonfly is my favorite of these Haslabs. I say that only having 1 of 3 in hand, so a lot can change there. To me, the Rattler figures are already considerably better than the Hiss figures, even if it comes with one less. All said, I am much more excited to get the Dragonfly than I was for the Hiss. All 4 figures there look great, even Glenda who I was bummed about at first.

Another great point and also factoring into why I am so ho-hum about it. The whole presentation just seemed lazy to me. I get Hasbro got the coveted spot for the GI Joe panel and perhaps that was too much for the team and they focused everything on that in lieu of being on the ball with their reveals and streams like in the past.

They dropped very non subtle hints about it all week. They released a video in the middle of the day and they deviated from their norm of how they've released, announced and presented past HasLabs.

Even the live stream they did Thursday night seemed off. Forgetting about things, never mentioning their own brand SDCC exclusive or better yet actually showing him during the live stream since they have him in hand.

I am glad this SDCC stuff is over. Maybe they will get a little break and go back to delivering the A+ stuff we are used to seeing from the classified staff.

A 3-pack with William Perry, Roddy Piper & Rocky (w/ some Rambo/Sly nods maybe) would be such a cool exclusive.

First and last would probably be easy to obtain. The middle one might be tough. I know Piper's family has a deal with WWE/Mattel for use of his likeness. I don't know if that can be shared with another company or not.

If its possible, yes, would be a great thing to do for the fans.

I was one of those that was not too keen on Raptor having jets on his wings. But after looking at his promo photos a bunch this weekend and actually digesting his design elements and hearing Lenny's enthusiasm for this Raptor, I've done a 180. I still may try to do the Angel wings mod, but I'm also 100% on-board with Classified Raptor having the mech tech.

Funny enough, I heard Lenny describe the original Raptor wings as being "super retro" this weekend. Even though his comment wasn't meant as a hint, it did make me sort of smirk and wonderif we will get a retro Raptor at some point. His feather cape would also mean he wouldn't need to be a deluxe for the retro release either.


So I know I told myself I wasn't going to back the Rattler, but seeing all the pics in the booth...it's just too effing badass to pass on. The play factor with these Classified vehicles is just insane!


Was just looking at pics of Wild Weasel and I think I'm pretty happy with his helmet/mask. Seems like they did a good job making the helmet look like the original, no?

Thursday night's livestream felt like they were playing 'beat the clock'. Seeing how fast they could jam everything in - like they were paying for broadcast time by the second. It was really uncomfortable feeling. Odd.

Well they took the longest to show a physical Dragonfly of the three. That stream in May (or was it early June?) was the first showing. The HISS was shown sooner and the Rattler was shown day 1.
