Has there been any word on when OAMCC will go up on pulse? This thread moves too fast to follow and I might have missed it.

I hope you're right. What helped me make my decision was seeing that Mindbender still sells for $75-100. If I end up buying a CoCo at MSRP, then I either have an opener or one I can sell in 6-12 months for the price I paid today, allowing me to break even.

If you can wait, yep, probably makes sense. Like I said, I may not have three minutes to preorder depending on when they go up this week.

Not a fan of Wild Weasel's face being shown. Plus, his helmet seems a little too 'generic' airforce pilot helmet - just in red. WW always seemed to be more unique than that. His helmet was soooo cool - especially in the comics.

Yeah, OAMCC is no Dr. Mindbender. One's an essential part of a collection being first released as a comic con exclusive and the other is a variant of Cobra Commander that greatly ties into a very divisive part of the franchise.

Minimum pricing at the moment seems to be about $80 plus shipping based on Ebay sold listings and Mindbender's minimum on ebay seems to be about $88 plus shipping currently (and that's looking before the retro announcement). Might be worth waiting to see if you can nab one at MSRP off Pulse if the late premium is $8.

Because you might not be getting less? This vehicle is quite a bit larger than the HISS and Dragonfly.

Some missiles?? 12 pieces of ordinance, 2 each of 6 different kinds plus a nose cannon and blast effects is just some? Sheesh. Tough crowd around here. This thing is massive compared to the Hiss. The Hiss also had 12 missiles and a front cannon, no blast effects, and considerably smaller than the Rattler. Also those missiles that come with the Hiss arent nearly as detailed or decorated as the ordinance that comes with the Rattler.

The hiss came with an alternate canopy and tread guards. The Rattler comes with swappable battle damaged plates, more engine details and a ladder.

I mean, I get the patches suck, but it feels like some of this is being blown out of proportion. To each their own tho.

The Rattler will be around twice as long as the HISS.

So I saw someone earlier on here had mentioned Slaughter mentioning The Fridge in his Hasbro interview as well as Lenny's SDCC badge being a cartoon depiction of The Fridge too. But I also just saw Jay from TNI also asked Lenny about potentially getting Rocky, Roddy Piper or The Fridge in the line eventually. Lenny said anyone is possible, though it requires more planning and obviously legal logistics like licensing rights and royalties and such to make guys like that possible.


- Regarding Road Pig's physique, I know Road Pig looked ripped in some of his comic appearances and his ME figure, but the guy has the word "pig" in his codename lol But besides that, his original card art and other promo art when he was new (Cobra accessory pack, the motorized pack, the GI Joe Magazine cover, etc.) depicted him as being big, but also not pure muscle and he looked more like an NFL offensive lineman, big WWF wrestler or an olympic powerlifter or strongman like others are saying. His original figure was very muscular and really big and beefy, bit he wasn't ripped like some figures were (Raptor and Big Boa and Steam-Roller were actually ripped).

I for one have absolutely zero interest in owning it, so it makes a good exclusive in my eyes. The single piece I'd like to own is the detached face plate. That's neat looking.

I get what you're saying. I just went back and looked at the booth photos again. There is one photo - with a hand in it - that makes it look absolutely huge. I wasn't trying to be overly harsh.

Maybe it's just that they didn't have a proper livestream to reveal it? The Dragonfly blew me away when Lenny was spinning it around - showing off pieces and parts. That's really been missed on the Rattler so far. Hopefully they do properly highlight it with a livestream before it's over. I have a feeling it would eliminate my concerns.

I want to see the Rattler next to the Dragonfly next to the Hiss Tank. Surprised they didn't show it off this way.

Edit - in the end, I'll probably back it just to get Wild Weasel. Doesn't seem like it would be too hard to sell of the Plane, Gunner, and Baroness.
