They do know that Raptor was never actually intended to fly right? He was a nut job that dressed up in a bird costume, which made sense as that is exactly the kind of person Cobra would attract. It also gave the character his charm. When I first saw the picture of the new figure I thought they had mixed a Marvel Legends figure in there by mistake. That's a super-hero villain. Is he going to utter accounting puns when he attacks?

I also found Road Pig disappointing I'm sorry to say. I had the same feeling I had seeing his reveal that I had with Falcon, my heart just dropped. As someone else said, his face looks like it's from a different toyline. As for being a powerlifter, when was he ever that? His ARAH figure was jacked to the tits. Rocking 12 pack abs or something. He was always more of a bodybuilder. That figure looks like a fat guy cosplaying as Road Pig.

Now for the more positive, almost everything else shown was great! Man they are really killing it with those 60th figures! Both look incredible, maybe even better than the first two and I thought those were fantastic also. I hope those keep on coming for the foreseeable future. I wish Zandar's garish colors were a bit more prominent but overall happy with that one too. And the Rattler? They knocked that one out of the park. I don't think the patches detract from it necessarily, just an odd choice after the Rancor. (And I was wondering how long it would take for someone to make the "Patches? We don't need no stinking patches!" reference.)

By the way, was there any announcement regarding Dial Tone, Wet Suit, or Sci-Fi? Still need those!

And for the next Haslab put me down for the WHALE. The amount of play features that thing has was always incredible. Unlike the aircraft it could also serve as a centerpiece to display a boatload of figures. Yes, I know it would likely be expensive, but I kind of thought that was the point of the Haslabs, being a once a year thing for each line and all.

I thought about backing the rattler but i really dont feel the value is there especially given the prices for the ht and the df were. Plus ir seems a bit tiny and ww looks too happy.

You can always take the wing pack off of Raptor if you choose not to use it. I don't blame them for "cooling" up a figure that has to sell on retail shelves than releasing him ironically.

Dial-Tone was already name revealed on the Pulse live stream a couple months ago.

Seeing pics of the Rattler is one thing, but seeing it in person is something else.

Of course there's the size, the dramatization with the lights, the landing strip, etc... but you can actually see where the 300+$ goes. Not only the size and the details, but also the quality of plastic. Same for the Dragonfly, it's definitely not Chap Mei stuff.

I'm going to the Con today as well. If you want specific focused pics of something, let me know.

Same. Can?t even find the listing by searching for it. Not sure any of these items are actually the con exclusives. They all look like general Pulse exclusives that were revealed at the con, but not the convention exclusives themselves.

Yep, just got that and checked too, and none of the SDCC exclusives are up. Link just goes to Pulse exclusives like the Steel Brigade vs. Shadow Guard 2-pack.

Given the Hasbro email y'all referenced, I went ahead and bought Once a Man CC on eBay because I know what my work week might look like, and if it goes up at the wrong time I may miss out on my chance. Lowballed a few BIN sellers until one accepted my offer.

It's Slice's logic - pay a bit more now, but I have absolute peace of mind that I won't miss out on one. Naturally, of course, what this means is there will be three billion of them available, it'll sell as well as the Crimson Strike Team. Ha.
