i didn't have the viper, mindbender or serpentor as a kid/none were especially big wants then, and between cobra island scarcity for the viper and the price of the other 2, i just figured my cobra display would focus on pre-86.

but then they go and put retro mindbender and viper in the same wave?

Now i want them. And a serpentor too, my nostalgia being reinvigorated having watched the serpentor storyline last weekend.

I really hope they do a serpentor.

If they think a mindbender will sell enough to make a retro run, certainly they must believe a serpentor will also.

But im wondering why they are doing the retro mindbender and possibly serpentor.

Did they really not make enough mindbenders/serpentors with the multiple releases to satisfy demand?

Or has the classified line added news fans that didn't get a crack at mindbender and serpentor?

Or are there many fans like myself who wouldn't shell the premium cash for those guys, but will at $25.

I would say based on the photos they used the V1 is the best guess. Maybe I am giving them too much credit but would have used different photo relating to the correlating version.

Good call, forgot they showed him. Some reason I thought it was name only. They did not show the Viper tho, correct? Cannot recall Rock n Roll either. Was likely still fixated on previously revealed haha. Command Centre at the end snapped me back to reality!

I’m down for all of the ‘82 figures getting an upscaled version of their ARAH figure on the retro explosion card. So I’m happy if that’s the Rock & Roll they are doing. But, I’d prefer they get to Flash, Short Fuze, & Zap first. A retro Breaker would take priority over R&R as well. Speaking of the card, I’d prefer the explosion background on the retro card to match the background of the ARAH figure. So Mindbender should be getting the “digital” explosion.

I expect Mindbender will "hopefully" have the silver logo on his cape, and maybe a slightly different shade for his trousers.. other than that I think he'd be a reissue essentially with fewer accessories.

I would presuppose that Rock & Roll will be similar to the existing figure only with (no visible tats) and dressed entirely in green very like this : https://www.yojoe.com/action/08/ssgtrocknroll.shtml. I get why some wouldn't care as the only significant difference would be the chest.

If they make him all green and keep the tattoos I would consider that brand ego making such a change where it isn't wanted.

That Marine Sniper is mighty similar to what I would have wanted to see from a "Green Guy" version of Shooter. Not sure if her existing sabotages that ever happening now or not. She maybe stuck in a single sub-team forever like Wreckage & Wolf Spider likely are & I do not really expect them to do a sub-team version of Helix either to be honest.

I hope they go all in on Retro Jinx though as I consider the current figure more a figure of "Kim" than of "Jinx" as it is. I wouldn't mind if they do the Tiger Force one with the retro re-do arms but maybe give her a ponytail head that you can swap as you please.. I don't care for the short hair much. & she has to much exposed skin on the current figure - I think it makes her look under-dressed.
