That being said, I might be one of the few here who couldnt care less about military accuracy. Its not why I enjoy GIJoe and never has been. The 60th figures are essentially expensive gear packs to me.

..that and they never said these were supposed to be realistic military depictions.

I think the Airman should have been like a pararescueman, its what he mosts looks like if it werent for the paint in the face. And if they added some of docs gear.

I don't mind the female sniper. I have met female marines. And I know there are women in delta. I wouldn't put it past it there are women in force recon too.

2. In what way will they re-use elements from the Roadpig tooling?

1. Appears to be, yes.
2. Fridge would be an awesome way to do it. Heavy Duty might be reimagined as a heftier guy to separate him from his cousin. Maybe some of the more obscure big guys like Big Brawler and Salvo.

Good point I will give them that. And we typically get 2 new face sculpts with each 60th release which is nice.

I don't know if I mentioned this before but I was thinking about what character would make a good "excuse" to make the body you'd want to make a Generic Snow Trooper and there seems to be a few good options... I would like something a little stylised perhaps though... I'm sure there is plenty of minor difference they can drawn on.

But https://www.3djoes.com/iceberg-v2.html comes to mind as something that might work in that way. Either 60th style or something like Grunt where you get other heads or helmets to turn them into a Generic (ideally they'd do Iceberg version one as well)

I actually always really liked the Movie toy line Ice Viper but I expect that is off the cards as a figure to do for the time being at least.

Retro Duke, Snake Eyes, Scarlett, Beach Head, and Cobra Commander are all money though.

I think Destro's eyebrow's add something for me. Beachhead is a bit more accurate to the original but I can't say he's clearly better or worse, 'just different' Retro Baroness has slightly nicer skin tone and her glasses come off.

I can see why the Retro Crimson Guard turns some people off though what with it being quite such a bright red as it is. the colour matched backpack is nice though.
