Raptor looks like Zartan and marvels Vulture from homecoming concepts had a baby. Terrible.

Been busy all day so haven’t had a chance to comment on the Comic-con reveals.

I understand why both Raptor and Road-pig might divide opinion, but I really, really like both of them. Road-pig has vaulted straight into the top-spot as the figure I am most looking forward to.

Road-pig does seems to have been influenced by the Overwatch character Road-Hog (physique, hook, mask, belly tattoo) - but is still very clearly Road-pig. I particularly like that they have given him more of an offensive lineman/strongman physique rather than the standard body-builder look. Makes the figure much more distinctive. I also really like the face sculpt. Personally I always viewed Road-pig as being somewhat ‘dumb muscle’ and the face sculpt captures that for me. Add in a cool new bull-dog companion and tons of newly sculpted gear (that includes most of his original load-out)…..all looks great to me.

I’m also completely happy with Raptor too. Outside of the absent wing cape (which I never once used with my ARAH figure), the Classified version appears to be fairly true to the original design - all the way to the shape of his nose. I completely understand the argument that by trying to make a quirky oddball character cool, the essence of the character can be lost….but I don’t really see that here. If the mechanical wings are left off, he seems to be the same old weird guy in a bird costume. Further, I can confidently state that the 10-year old version of me would absolutely have loved those mechanical wings. Current version of me is certainly looking forward to having winged Raptor attacking the Dragonfly.

Agreed. I still don?t like the character but the Classified updates do make sense.
