What does Star Wars have this year? haven't kept up with anything but Joe so far.

I hope there is more of a difference than what I'm seeing, but not convinced it's not just the paint making it look slightly different. Guess we'll see.

On perhaps a positive note, you could probably use the head sculpt here for your V1 Falcon, ha. Might be cheaper than buying 2 of the Night Force sets in order to keep both figures and fix the atrocious V1 face. The resemblance to Duke would actually make sense too, ha.

I think the "protest" would be not buying it. I personally think re-use is such a part of GI Joe's DNA that it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I like Star Duster and will happily add him to my collection.

I get why others don't feel the same though.

I really think this is just a pure homage to the original rather than some new way to cut corners. I don't suspect we'll start seeing tons of figures using the same head sculpts all of a sudden.

Yeah this feels like a Dusty situation where there's gonna be alot of people complaining about it being a Duke head repaint, but it's just very similar.

The SDCC item is Black Series Darth Maul with Sith Speeder, which hasn't gone up yet. Those TVC Mando items actually went up on Amazon yesterday so they aren't "really" SDCC drops even though most retailers are putting them up today.
