That dude on Twitter who posts about items landing in the US (JediJaybird?) said Deluxe Starduster and two new 60th Anniversary Deluxe figures ("Ruff" and "Ready") have hit US shores.

Cool of them to manage to *not* get something leaked for a change. Interested to see them; not thrilled they're all going to be $35+. The new pricepoint for Classified. :/

Definitely from a Hasbro focus group, so about a year or so old and may not be a reliable indicator of final appearance and stretch tiers.

Not really, no. Finding a fine line between vintage and modern isn't an "embrace" of that. It's updating the classic look for a modern audience. Doc is a great example of that.

Very few, and in some cases, like the Crimson Guard, it works great. Others, like Quick Kick and Shipwreck, it does not, and leaves the figures looking out of place and outdated. We've even seen collectors throw a vest on Retro Duke to update him a bit.

Did a couple of small paint mods to Jinx. Removed her tats. Painted her chest/flesh colored areas red. Painted the black used on her ankles and tops of the shoes a dark red to match her secondary color. I may go back paint her forearm wraps and hands to match the dark red as well.

I hesitate to ask, since I don't want it to potentially start bugging me too, but what exactly are the "Joe Pros" people are talking about? Some kind of communication device?

I haven't noticed anything like that on any of the figures that I have, at least. Why are these bothering people so much?

The little circle devices (the blue lens) on their webgear. They don't bothering most collectors, just a small handful.
