https://x.com/_SgtSlaughter/status/1815234483169148987 I'm assuming this is for the Triple T Transformer and maybe some of the remaining Marauders. ALways a chance at a Classified Triple T as well

Though I think they also implied it is more expensive than plain paint to do it. But I agree chroming the face plate on the Viper would be a nice idea and a way to easily visually distinguish it from the previous versions too. If they decided to do a wave of retailer specific Retros at any point then a Python Patrol or Sonic Fighters or such like one with a shiny tinted chrome effect visor would really pop too. Though perhaps a Python Patrol Viper Officer using the Retro Mould with a shiny faceplate would be a nice way to make them look "just a bit different" too. That shiny effect might be nice to see on some other toys too.. like on Transformers Faces or accessories for example. (Shame they didn't use it on Metal Hawk for example - but they could use it on the 2025 lines perhaps - it would be nice to see Transformers One toys with a shiny finish... but then to be honest the old Takara WFC toys had a shiny finish and that looks so nice - I think that was baked paint though - like Cybertron/Galaxy Force Galvatron had). Going forwards perhaps they could shiny up some other things like bombs or rockets, exhausts or engine blocks etc.. Pre-supposing that the new effect is more durable that normal vac metalisation while looking nearly as good - and also sticking to a wider range of materials too. Amusingly I recall Lucasfilm bragging about chroming rubberised prop weapons back for the Prequels - so Chroming things you can't usually chrome is older than Hasbro might like us think it is perhaps. |

MEOW !!! Why do the ?viper goggles? fit the figures head not the helmet unless if it were real they would/could come with bother sizes of goggles . Also to the question of they rereleased the viper again i have 4PP 2 CI 1 3 pack and 2 crimson sure and if it has a vac metal helmet like the hall of heroes version did i would be in for @ least 6 .. hopefully the range viper makes the retro card list before the viper does ..

I do not recall the exact Quote But I remember watching the stream when they are talking about the 'New Technology' of the Chrome face plate on Cobra Commander & I don't know if it was then or the previous time they were talking about "shiny" but I do remember getting the impression that is wasn't a one time thing but more a 'new thing' that they can use from this point onwards.

Hell there was a time when they vac metaled every c-3p0 and r2-d2 and i do see old vac metal guns regularly @ thrift stores and some of the older master replica lightsabers are vac metal as well and not saying anything about the jango fett stunt pistols that are vac metal ..

Watch the next v2 Snake-Eyes be...a Tiger Force version. The Super7 looks super silly, but it could be a fun Classified figure. Scarlett as well. Certainly, they can Tiger Force-ify any figure and aren't beholden to what appeared in RAH.
Target also carries some vehicles for other lines. Like the kids ECTO-1 right now. Or have carried large Batman/Flash vehicles. It all depends on how well they think Classified sells for them. |

I'd be thrilled with a Retro Viper if done right. I missed out on the original CI version and didn't like the muted colors (and price) of the 3-pack version.
If done right, and by that I mean a truly retro version--rolled up sleeves, calvary boots, etc.--I'd be down for ten! The newly tooled flak vest has me optimistic, but the half-assed Retro Trooper leaves me somewhat wary . . . Definitely excited to see more. |

A retro Viper? The retro line is going to own the main releases if this keeps up.

You'll notice whenever we get new reveals the first comment is usually, "ehh it's ok but I'll wait for the retro version." I'm starting to think everyone wants full 1:1 retro Classified now.
