The lottery system is pretty terrible, but there needs to be some way of limiting purchases. Otherwise they'd be completely sold out the 1st day and up on eBay the 2nd.

It sucks that people that actually really want these aren't able to get them because they "lost" a lottery, while the scalpers that try for anything and everything are going to just waltz in and get it because they were more lucky than the fans.

But, fortunately Hasbro and the GI Joe crew wizened up and are making the Con Exclusives non-essential figures that will probably still be in stock on Pulse weeks after the convention. Losing a lottery to buy OAM CC will sting a lot less than losing a lottery to buy Starduster or Roadpig

Precovid, I have seen the stock room on the floor of SDCC. They are only creating the illusion of exclusivity

Oh, I believe it. And I'm sure that anyone that actually just hovers near the booth or store or whatever will get in to buy whatever they actually want because of inevitable no-shows. But whatever they can do to cut down on the people going in there to just immediately flip product is a bonus

Speaking for myself..... I'm digging this. I love this light metallic blue they are using on visors and goggles. I love the contrast of the helmet against the black fatigues. The tan highlights and camo.... *chef's kiss

Helmet is snug. Even feels like the torso is a little tighter.
