Maybe they'd move it to May or October if it moves to Vegas, when it is not hot, or as hot. I know the convention and casinos are all air-conditioned, but 100K people walking around the Strip during the day coming to and from when it is potentially 115+ degrees just sounds like a nightmare.

We had a bad summer a couple of years ago with 110-115 for about a month in DFW and I can handle 100 degree weather fine. But that 110-115 range is absolutely brutal, I can't handle it.

Yeah, there's still plenty of appeal to Vegas even in the summer.

The lottery system for SDCC sounds absurd. People could spend thousands traveling there and not even have a chance at buying exclusives. My friend goes every year (for work) and would either pick up items for me or have one of his friends or contacts get them. For the last few years, I just buy what I want online (whenever exclusives become are offered). I much prefer buying online and not wasting hours in line and hoping they don?t sell out for the day. Just put everything online or only have ?exclusives? be first to market. Hoping you?re even granted the opportunity to buy something seems so ridiculous.

That's what would grind my gears the most. You have to win a lottery to have them even deign to allow you to give them your hard earned money.
