It was reported as part of the set by Full Force who are usually pretty reliable. That makes me think Heartwrencher was leaked to them by whoever their internal source is. I'm sure Chris will go live later today and talk about it.

They must have fixed it already, still says $34.99 on the main page but when I add to cart it's $49.99.

The source of info was Chris from Full Force. Fairly reliable. out of the many figures we will get this year, to be off by 2-3 figures is a pretty good track record. Not to mention in the case of Raptor and Once a Man CoCo, we're still getting both, just a matter of which is the Con exclusive. Very possible that Heartwrencher was originally on the lineplan with Falcon and that they made a swap.

Even the great Willie Pete gets it wrong sometimes.

It looks totally new from what I can tell. Should pop right onto the standard release. The ball pegs have been mostly standard for male figures outside of the first few waves that had the hinged neck joint. (and any reuse of those original molds i.e. Retro Beach Head still has a hinged neck)

I didn't really know much about Quarrel or Heartwrencher so this is all the same for me. I'll pick it up for the unique character. Dunno if I can stomach a second copy just for a head sculpt for Falcon. Need to decide if I keep NF Falcon as is, or use the body and gear for a custom (a great buck!) and use the head for V1 Falcon.

It's funny I passed on the Night Force RAM because it was kind of dull to me, but I love this set for the IMO improved colors. I like Quarrel too and while I was going to generally skip Night Force I like the coloring on this guy enough he can just be a Night Force Trooper (to me) and I'll pick up a couple of the better Night Force figures since I'm going to be getting some when the Dragonfly arrives anyway.

So, it's really a matter of personal preference but I'm seeing a pretty even split on the reception to this 2-pack. I thought it would be a home run but I may be wrong about its general reception.

The one time I might be annoyed that I didn't order through Target. Is your order from when the preorder went live a couple months back? I think Pulse still had October for theirs?

Damn that sucks. Hope others were able to get orders in at the lower price. I know Ilyana isn't on the best buck, but it is a good figure. I regretted getting rid of mine a few years back, and last year when I started to build a new Legends X-Men collection I was shocked to see how much she was going for now. I don't expect this exact costume for her to be revisited any time soon. But she is popular enough I think we will see her in her Krakoa era look or her new From the Ashes look within the next year or so.
