Because there was discussion/expectation here that the two-pack was billed somehow as a Joe vs a non-Joe, although I don't remember how we got to the expectation that it would be Heartwrencher facing off against Falcon. I'm sure I remember somewhere reading some confusion here about why Falcon was being "pitted" against her. I think that's why you got it into your head.

I just remember something I own that i'd not thought of for many years.. that gave me a thought related to Gi Joe and how it is sold and how it was sold years ago.
That being I have a (very old) DINKY model kit made of metal that you had to press fit and screw together (instead of the usual rivets) and once done it look just like a normal toy only held together with screws not rivets. So I noticed two things 1) There used to be Gi Joe Model Kits 2) The Vamp is held together with screws too. So how about this as an idea a model kits made of the normal material (without the tampographs) and sold in pieces. They could do say the alternative deco of VAMP II as a kit. Or a Cobra Ferret but make the base colour white. Not sure if they'd want too - but I can't see any reason why they couldn't do it when they had just such a thing before. https://www.yojoe.com/archive/nottoys/modelram.shtml https://www.yojoe.com/archive/nottoys/modelmobat.shtml https://www.yojoe.com/archive/nottoys/modelvamp.shtml In this case though I think keeping the screws in fact keeping the entire mould would be a better bet. It is also a nice nod to have the old vehicle required assembly. (say something like a HAVOC is pretty much a self-assembly model kit anyway) : https://www.yojoe.com/vehicles/86/havoc/ I think that would be a fun way to get out alternative decos as is the case with the VAMP II. The brown version could be the retail and the sand version the kit (for example) Even something as simple as making the plastic white so it can be assembled as is as an "arctic" version as well as be a good base to paint. |

This line?
You must not collect too much . Dip your big toe in marvel legends . You?ll see recycle. To your point Falcon looks terrible. But gi joe reusing parts has been the way since the beginning.

Nice! Amazon has him shipping with the others I ordered from that wave today too. Whatever kink in distribution that was causing him to show as late-August a few days ago must have been worked out.

2 days ago I just finished making a Quarrel character combining retro Scarlett with movie Scarlett. I guess I’ll just have to do a repaint and now I got an original character.
I was looking forward to Heartwrencher but this is also a nice unexpected surprise. Falcon looks good in those images. |

Im having a really hard time not loving this set we get quarrel out of the way she looks great IMO falcon im down . Ill take 2 of these sets right off the bat . Nice reuse of range viper glock w/extended mag , and his grenade launcher as well . Looks like his leg holster also . Nothing about this set i dont like remove the pauldrons on falcon and its fine for me , i would have taken heart breaker as well but i guess she is being saved for another day . What a good set no complaints and we get another female for our ranks its a win win .
