If this is true, is this not the first time they have directly given us a figure from the old cartoon in this line?

I understand that there are a lot of fans of that show, and I do not mind having a female Strato-Viper. Part of me is a little upset that they would mine that cartoon for inspiration before giving us Scarface, Kwinn, Dr. Venom, etc.

Again, to reiterate, I do not begrudge anyone getting all of the figures he or she wants. It just seems (to me) like that cartoon is an albatross that weighs this franchise down and does not allow it to transcend the past.

I am sorry if this offends anyone. One last time, I certainly do not want to see anyone not get what they want. I am excited for those who are excited. It just disappoints me personally.

I do honestly think they might actually do the X-30 Conquest as a normal Pulse exclusive (in the $175 to $250 range) it make a whole lot of sense that toy has a large number of potential repaints including Python Patrol and Tiger Force options they'd have some interest in from some and some of the later decos are really rather nice looking too including some nice white ones.

Also as some no doubt have noticed the Buzz Lightyear Starfighter is 80% of the way to being that already (I already bought 3 of them for that very reason) & if they are concerned about selling a big plane they could always start with something smaller like the Flying Submarine or the Firebat.

Just a random thought after staring at that pic and the comments made about the back blast - What if it is the Night Raven? I genuinely do not think it is, but that would certainly be a fun swerve from what is expected and would make the last tier make a bit more sense?

NF Shockwave with cycle came in today, looks good, and has way more stuff than I was expecting. Also my retro Beachhead, Eel, and Snow Serpent are on the way, good week!

While I prefer the comic, the cartoon was my gateway as a kid into GIJOE. The beauty of classified is that it can pull from all levels of GIJOE. There are characters from Devils Due that I wish they would make. I do not mind cartoon characters. As I would not mind early Joe villains from the comics, especially Kwinn. I would also like to see the lady from the Oktober Guard and a LRRP 3 pack.
