The "meh" reactions to the rattler is less about design and more just about space concerns. I'm sure this will be great and convince people to buy it, but it's still a 1/12 plane and that's the hardest sell.

I think people latch too much onto "accuracy" and demand things to be too RAH. Some will match RAH. Some won't. Frankly, Classified shouldn't be just upscaled RAH. I just take the retro subline as being evocative of the old toys, mainly by packaging and some deco changes. They don't need to be 100% RAH. Since it's essentially a way to get reuse/repaints out into the market and recoup costs, it's never gonna be all-new. Yes, we got a wave with Duke and Scarlett in it. If they weren't already in the mainline, these figures likely could have been in the mainline.

It could be argued the original Snow Serpent and EEL should have had more accurate/nostalgic gear. I found it more of a shame with Snow Serpent than EEL. But I wasn't expecting retro releases to have new gear, as we really haven't seen that happen before. I imagine the line has generally avoided real world weapons, like the AK-47, but then Sgt Slaughter inexplicably gets that gun as his apparent signature weapon (is he going to be revealed as a Soviet agent?). Weapons are just such a weird, nigh-weakspot of Classified. However, I can understand not wanting to use real-world weapons (both for licensing and political issues). The choice of Slaughter's AK-47 is such a weird conundrum.

I know we often discuss our nitpicks and the flaws of this line, but we all have to admit that its a great time to be a Joe fan.

Every fig doesnt have to look the ARAH part.
Some kind of hit that part like quick kick, snow serpent ,eels ,jinx ,recondo and others as well .

Then you have the range viper ,sorry im very biased i love that figure he was never even a top 20 tot me when i was in my late teens when he came out , but now hes a favorite army builder probably number 1 in classified the hiss fire team version maybe a 6 maybe the colors are weird and they take a lot away from the sculpt .

And dont get me started on snow serpents not getting the proper Kalashnikov that they needed and imo were almost defined by that gun like the ig?s/snd their large UZI , but give it to slaughter and in his hands/arms its undersized he needs a larger weapon or a desert eagle .. if they kept the weapons like the originals, the rest of the problems w/the figures wouldn?t bother me , i like the unique guns like big bens machine pistols now they come with shockwave , or clutchs sidearm that comes with hawk/covergirl as well .. wish they would have reused snow jobs instead i like both of them but snow jobs for the win ..

It is a great time to be a joe fan the VvsV ,spy troope joevs cobra were cool and the 25th/ME/POC era were even better but joes/cobras in 6? form ,never would i have thought and the mostly good quality ta?boot , hope to be buying classified till 2031 @ least ..

Also hope that shits real been wanting a raven figure since 86 or whenever that episode first ran ..

I was just having one of those exciting moments when I was opening all the figures that got delivered today with my oldest son. I love that these characters and these figures exist and I admire the work that gets put into them.

I guess I can hope for a nice "Flight Suit Baroness" in a fetching Dark Blue now that can come out in advance of the Rattler shipping.

I suppose people will be scratching their head about who goes in the Turret now too.

One good thing about "Raven" is she can be used as a Female Strato-Viper Pilot as well just by leaving her helmet on. The bad thing is that it is a signal they might not get around to doing a Classified Night Raven for a while (Unless they plan to sell it to retail with a single figure that is).

I don't totally hate the option of the teeth.. if nothing else it is a useful way to separate them if you buy more than one.

True words ,they are made well and i enjoy the quality for the price and I don?t know if I get endorphins when I open them but it is a small joy in life that you have to appreciate even if its not very significant , you have to appreciate the little things !!!
