Eels and Snow Serpent released in 1985. At that point only Deep Six existed from your list. Iceberg and Wet-Suit were 1986, Blizzard was 1988, Stalker v2 was 1989 and Sub-Zero was 1990.

Classified needs to start somewhere with the water and snow themes. Snow Job & Arctic BATS (then Snow Serpents) came out together and Torpedo & Eels came out one after another.

Not sure I would criticize Hasbro for not making 2 or 3 waves nothing but arctic and then 2 or 3 waves of nothing but divers/sailors. Most of those figures you list will come out over the next couple of years. There is still a Snow Cat rumor floating around out there.

Retro Eels and Retro Snow Serpents were not perfect, but fixing an Amazon error of underestimating an army builder and lowering the price of another army builder were both quick responses to fandom and overall a win in my book.

Lt Falcon, he has been recognized as a loss.

Why not just a straight reissue though? Unless it's an issue of no longer and having die and press set to produce that style of packaging...Actually...I think I may have answered my own question.

Regardless I think it sucks to get figures in Retro that are super ARAH then others that are just a deco change. Makes it hard to get excited about name reveal since it's a crap shoot of what we'll actually be getting.

Seriously though, I remember Lenny saying or hearing that he didn't want Haslabs for Classified to go above a certain amount. I hope that is true and the amount is $299.99... if I remember the dollar amount I heard / read.

I'm just going to say this...when we see what we'll be getting for $300-$325 many who said they were "meh" about it probably will no longer be. Those that are excited about it will need to change their breeches.

That has been my thoughts. They have not been subtle with the Rattler idea but keep saying it will be an incredible reveal. The extras and tiers have to be dynamite.
