Right, there is little retro about them other than a slight repaint. Missing half the accessories does not a retro make

Don't forget swappin' out the airtank art for a "classic" Cobra sigil. That definitely made made it Retro (rolls eyes so hard optic nerve snaps)

Retro is clearly "90% recolors, 10% ALL NEW". And I'm fine with that.

Snow Serpent and Eel weren't easy to get. Giving others the chance at these army builders is fine.

It's wild how different some Retro releases are compared to others. Those three examples especially feel like love letters to the brand compared to the retro troop builders we've seen so far. That work might have been necessary to entice anyone into buying too, how many Retro Dukes would have sold if they just rereleased the original figure with a few small changes? OTOH, troop builders are probably going to sell in numbers regardless of how minimal the changes are.
