I'm on your side, man. Figure design should account for the weapons it is going to come with. I know they love to re-use parts, but if you're going to do that, don't design a gun that won't fit right in the re-used part you're going to use.

I was just sitting here the other day wondering where slice has been lol. How's it going man, what's the latest wip?

I'll go out and say I am the same way with $25 figures. That's the same reason I don't buy legend that much anymore. They all are gummy and always bait you to buy another. Not to say they don't have homeruns every now amd then. But a home run sometimes doesn't mean a price increase all the time in my book. The year they ramped the price up, I hardly bought any legends. Gijoe has always seemed more worth it to me, but they do have their short comings as well.

The sad thing is that they have the right hand to use. They just didn't. Had they designed the torch with the trigger on the back handle it wouldn't be an issue.
I've worked quality before. I know how easy it is to miss things that are much more important than a toy holding its gun properly. And I didn't have to deal with sending stuff back and forth to China. But it's important that they know when they have made a mistake so they don't make it again.

It all depends on what body mold has that hand, and whether or not said mold is already in use at the time of production. Pure speculation on my part, but if that was the case, and they'd gone with the wrist articulation you're suggesting, we might have gotten a different base buck for Torch than the one he's on. And what has largely been considered a home run for a figure, might've wound up being "meh," otherwise.

One way I solved the two hand issue on Torch is to just use one hand. I know that sounds like I'm being sarcastic but if you place the front grip into his right hand (the one with the trigger) you can just tuck the back of the flame thrower under his arm. This also solves the hose issue as it's this perfectly placed directly behind the figure. Maybe it's not as dynamic as a duel wield but I think he looks pretty good on a shelf with this method.

That was almost me, but I'm content with just trimming the bubble off the cards and keeping them, since the earlier Retros don't match.
