Yeah. I completely understand the whole concept of MiB as I used to be one, but I can't imagine anybody being upset with those who wanted to verify that what they bought was in the box (even if it's just to ensure all the accessories are there - you can even hold the sealed accessory bags up to a light without opening to verify). At worst, during resale, it's providing a service to the customer. I always opened and inspected my Sideshow/HotToys/Medicom stuff to ensure they were complete and free of any QC issues. I also always stipulated doing so in the descriptions though, so the buyer was never mislead. It never affected their resale value.

I never had a problem with the windowless packaging, until I bought some Classified Grunts which were on clearance at Walmart.
Finally got around to opening them, after a couple of months. All three were missing their helmets and alternate head, which must be sealed in a different bag than the other accessories which were there. I returned them to WM and told them they were missing parts. A few days later, there are the Grunts I returned back in the clearance aisle. WM just wanted to dump them onto another sucker even though they knew they were defective. |

Thank you to those who mentioned that Gamestop had these the other day, they just came in. Solid set of figures, gorgeous colors on Beach Head, Doc is awesome to finally have as I never did get the 25th one back in the day, and Jinx is a nice mix of old and new.
Overall she's really good but I do have one major complaint, the torso articulation. I don't understand what's going on with with female characters atm, but the Valkyrie body, Helix, Shooter, retro Scarlett, and now Jinx all have a very limited range with what should be a sure fire method of achieving good articulation. I'll have to pop her apart to see what can be done. |

If it is, I hope it comes with at least half as many cups as the recent Star Wars set does.

Not saying it's your fault because it isn't but In your example situation with the inspected blind boxes I would have thrown away the packaging and sold it loose or made the first picture show the box obviously already opened. But I hate blind boxes anyway, they are anti-consumer and predatory (preys on the gambling impulse). I don't see how anyone finds that more "fun" than just getting the one you want.

I'm annoyed because I'm going to be out of town for a couple weeks visiting family starting tomorrow morning, and my Beach Head and Doc aren't set to arrive until tomorrow night. Since I'm a total dork and can't wait another 2 weeks to open him, I've already routed one of my duplicate copies of Beach from Pulse to where I'll be staying. The wait continues. |

Yep, I made the same comments on the ranking thread for Jinx. We really need a more functional ab crunch.

Customers do not read descriptions. The description doesn't even show up on the mobile app - you have to scroll to the middle and select "see full description", and I can promise you a lot of people don't do that. I think the last I checked about 30% of my sales were to customers buying from the mobile version.

Still had a couple of people who fell into what you both said. People simply are lazy at times when looking at and buying items. They see the title and price and jump on it.
