Outta curiosity- were your Amazon figures pre-ordered or ordered after initial release? I also order much of mine from Amazon but usually from preorders. As I collect MIB- I have no idea what's in the windowless boxes. But I hope that the preordering means I get first run stuff, no time for someone to have bought/ returned/ repacked.

That's a good point, too. I would think pre-orders would certainly be less susceptible to repacks.

I had an Amazon preorder ML Ultimate Cap arrive as a swap with a janky, ill-proportioned, ToyBiz Cap in the box (no shield). The replacement they sent was what I'd ordered. I just chalked it up to dicks being dicks, but I don't want to think of the headaches awaiting some MIB collectors, when they start to offload their collections and some wind up being repacks.

Also had a WM Ex Fixit arrive with a couple WWE basics taped together in the box (that one I chalked up to Walmart just Walmarting).

I got a message from pulse that the 3 retro figures would ship soon on the 11th and haven?t been charged or heard anything since. Is that normal? I?m pretty new to this hobby.

They were not pre-orders which is definitely a contributing factor. I haven't had any issues when pre-ordering from Amazon. Just when buying after release.

I get the concern over the plastic free packaging. I also think there is no perfect solution. I was in Walmart about 2 months ago and saw a CM Punk box with a Chris Jericho figure inside.

I just hope I don’t break anything with the new plastic. I also like to keep the box and stuff.

If it's the same 3 I got, it's retros Beachhead, Eel, and Snow Serpent. I got the shipping soon email either yesterday or the day prior so they'll probably charge me Sunday/Monday night and will arrive by the end of the week if history is any indicator.
