It's like their actual strategy is to make GI Joe everything EXCEPT FOR O-Rings. Maybe I'll get a few of these when I see them in-hand, but got-dang-it, the one line I really really REALLY want to see is the one Hasbro is actively turning their nose up at.

Not my area of expertise, but I'd be stunned if that particular part of assembly could not be done by machine - then or especially now.

I guess Mcfarlane can't make 7" DC Multiverse style ones due to Super7 having its Ultimates

Personally speaking from replacing and fixing vintage joes for 30 years now I would be in awe watching a machine do it.

I have some nephews. If these are out by Christmas next year I'd send them some of these.
Get some source material in their hands, maybe peak their interest. |

I don't know if that's it or if has to do with the fact that Diamond Select makes 7" scale figures based on Skybound comics like the Diamond Select Invincible figures. I personally would love it if McFarlane did 7" scale Joe, Transformers, and Invincible figures because Diamond Select figures aren't given the wide distribution McFarlane figures are.
