When it was first rumored I was guessing it would be around $400 given the comparable size items that have been made. Didn't like the $100 shipping but understand it is part of the business.

The low quantity is part of what drives the price up. A factory order of 4k units doesn't seem like much versus what Hasbro is getting for HasLabs.

Heh actually in their past campaigns, it has been dependent on the time zone the computer you're using is in. At midnight Eastern you won't be able to order while someone on the West coast still has 3 hours left. It makes zero sense.

Yup. Timing is part of why this is dragging. The toy market now is not the same as 18 months ago. And the holidays, of course.

I wish this was an SDCC launch, but then folks would be complaining it's right after the Dragonfly and competing with the Ghost.
