Exactly. Secondary sellers are struggling to unload them at $300 which is why many are selling the figures separately. I was one of them.

Maybe if BBTS broke them down and sold the jet and figures separately they'd get more than $300. I'm sure if they asked $40 each for the figures and $200 for the jet BBTS loyalists would jump on it.

She didn't answer a direct question about BBTS, but the emphasis on Hasbro having no control over what happens to items after they're sold individually makes me think BBTS has something set up with their employees as individual consumers, where they front the money but the individual places the order to build stock.

Just because they're only showing up for sale now doesn't mean that they weren't already selling from whatever inventory they pooled on the secondary market through non-BBTS branded accounts when this was hotter. It's possible that they think they'll move better via BBTS now that we're headed into Q4 and people are more likely to holiday shop from retail.

Didn't even think of paint changes! But I think you're right and they probably will do some deco changes for the main release. When they first revealed the HISS version sketch and render with the snake wrapped around the globe accessory, I immediately thought, "that's definitely unique and exclusive to this release".

I agree with Firmpulse. I suspect the Retro version will look more Sunbow than RAH.

But there's also a chance they just make a straight RAH version, with the proper logo and fewer accessories.

As for BBTS having dozens of employees setting up Pulse accounts and ordering Skystrikers . . . sure it's possible. But do you really think it's likely? Why would BBTS risk their relationship with their most important supplier to make trivial profits? The logistics of this arrangement boggles the mind. Occam's razor suggests a different explanation.
