I don't think overlooked so much as not common knowledge in the first place. Not everyone hears every piece of information everyone else does about these things.

I wouldn't expect them to for sure. I prefer them simply because I've been used to 40 years of evolving Star Wars figures, so Joe evolving to be much the same wasn't a shock to the system.

Do find it funny that for all the hate ME Joes get from the Joe fandom, the Star Wars fandom absolutely LOVES all the ME Joe articulation and proportions being now added to the 3.75 line. It's such an interesting dynamic.

Wonder what kind of figures S7 would be making for joes if they got the green light for o-rings. All of their ReAction figures are 5POA, right? Would joes be their own line? Can they do o-ring 5POA?

The POC and 30th corrected a lot of those issues, but yeah the first renditions of the 25th had all that for sure.

They did have better sculpts, non breakable hands, no o-rings to snap, better proportions than o-ring, minus the heads on some specifically cobra commander.

The faces on a lot of the o-ring figures are hideous. And the screw joints and the barrel chests. I obviously liked joe as a kid but it?s like playing Atari vs x box one, 360,or whatever the newest one is.

The only ME figure that actually felt like a toy and not a nostalgic-posable-desk-statue was the 25th Bazooka.

O-ring was what set Joe apart. It was distinct and better than everything else. There's a dozen lines like ME, some better than Joe.

That's why new-sculpt was the best to me, proper gun holding hands with injection molded shoulders that were backwards-compatible with 82-94

I don't get it. How did o-ring set joes apart? They had better articulation than star wars but they weren't the first. By 1982 you had Buck Rogers, Black Hole, dukes of hazard, chips and Magnum PI. It wasn't the first.
