Star Wars is a much larger brand. Besides o ring is inferior technology.why go back. The 25th and 30th were way better.

I agree with that, but Hasbro can't seem to decide what 1:18 scale items they should be doing. They started with "Retro" which was really a reissue of some subpar ME figures. Then they switched to O-ring (for about 10 minutes). Now there is nothing.

I'm sure something like the TVC for Joe will come back at some point. I just have no idea what it would be. But the existence of Classified has very little to do with it. 1:12 and 1:18 can coexist.

You think there is enough money out there for them to support two brands? I don?t know. I mean they are making a mint on classified. Why bother for now.

I suspect they could support two scales if they commit to what they want in 1:18 and do it well. But I'm pretty satisfied with Classified so I don't have a lot invested in it either way.

Good discussion. Personally I think they do not have a clear direction for the 3.75 inch figures so it has been bits and pieces. It might be too late now with the S7 license in full effect. Unless they go the o-ring retro route and make modern versions of the ARAH line. S7 has the comic and cartoon avenues covered.

The modern o-ring figure are not bad. Simple, nostalgic, not an abundance of weapons.

Honestly I was really enjoying the O Ring line. Lots of figures from childhood I can buy new and enjoy without worrying about them breaking. I really enjoyed that.

Personally I like the modern o-ring figures because they relate more to the ARAH line, much like the reaction figures do with the cartoon and comics. The 25th/50th/POC figures were very good. Just had too much going on with all the accessories. I am a simple guy.
