The easy answer to all this is look between the lines and add 2 plus 2. There is no way. In hell. BBTS would offer something at a minimum markup. The only plausible explanation is that it had been past the designated time for release and the items were offered to the highest affiliate wholesale "bidder" . BBTS is now like the Ebay of reseller come retailers, meaning they have the money and to the money goes the spoils. Or they were first to say they'd take all of the leftovers.

By the way, full skystriker sets were going for as much as $400 plus shipping as little as two weeks ago on ebay FYI. Haven't checked if the BBTS stock had any effect on that price yet. I have a set of Cobras available if anyone's interested.

This wouldn't be so bothersome if we weren't as close to Ketchup and Mustard as we were, and if Hasbro wasn't so open in their contempt for O-Ring as they have been over the years.

It may be, at most, a few hundred or so extra sets, but that's still a bit disrespectful. But that doesn't change anything, and Hasbro is still going to try to find profit where they can.

It's kind of odd that they'd do a successful o-ring Haslab then be so lax with the idea. Aside from the TF crossovers we've had what, 6 o-ring figures, all in 2-packs?

I guess it still appeals to vintage ARAH collectors who want a decent new Skystriker.

Why would Hasbro make 3 3/4 inch when they can make 6 inch and charge a lot more $$

Because as Star Wars has shown, they can do both at the same time and not charge that much less for TVC figures.
