Don't forget that some of us couldn't find the Joe Awe-Striker from the ME retro line in stores even though we found every single other item, then suddenly BBTS has overstock of them for MSRP. Seems there's some precedent that Hasbro offloads overstock to them just like the CI figures.

The markup here is more usual. The HasLab was $399 and this is $649.

Maybe.

The main questions seem mainly centered around why did a big quantity suddenly pop up so long after release. You made an excellent point why sitting on them for so long made little sense, if BBTS received them like everyone else.

The small markup was part of it perhaps, but I don't think it's really why people were so interested.
