This game looks like a lot of fun. I wish they had other characters other than the usual suspects(I’m not sure Ripcord is A list LOL) but this game is the kinda of Gi joe game I wanted back in the day. I’m also on the side of wanting to play with the Cobra side.

Don't bother getting excited for this. I can tell from the trailer that the gameplay is garbage. Nowhere near Shredder's Revenge. In fact, it reminds me of a Flash game.

Hey, that GBA Flash beat em up by WayForward was awesome!

But it's clear that this was made on a far tighter budget than they were able to throw at Shredder's Revenge (or even the River City Girls games, which are the high point of the genre on current gen systems). The animation alone gives that away.

The backgrounds, at least thus far, look fairly generic with occasional Cobra symbols to carry the fact that this is a Joe game. A couple looked like swipes of TMNT backgrounds, in fact.

Too bad they made this as part of a relatively crowded genre instead of going left-field and doing something like another sidescroller in the vein of NES games.

I'll agree that it seems to be lacking polish, and that expectations should be tempered, but I'll still give it a go if it gets a physical Switch release. I passively collect for the Switch, and I'll likely play this more than I did my copy of Blackout (30 minutes).
