I'll have to give that a shot. I've never tried a Ghost Recon game, although I have played Rainbow Six, and didn't really like it, much. To be fair, that was years ago. I think it was the first (maybe second) Rainbow Six game.

Not sure. It's coming out on PC and the Switch initially (I assume via the online Switch store) but maybe that is a disc release? I haven't heard for sure. Kerry from Maple Games said the plan is to release is on Xbox and Playstation as well, but didn't say if it was a disc release. I kind of think this game is smaller in scale and probably will be downloadable on the online stores and not sold physically on discs.

But I could be 100% wrong about that though!

This seems like the kind of game that will be digital only until Limited Run does the inevitable hard copy version. Quite few of the niche brawlers get similar treatment.

Sadly, I'm sure you're right, which doubly sucks because my only experience with LRG was them never shipping the Contra Anniversary collection, which is inexcusable, when you consider that you pay up front. I've gone ahead and paid a 20% mark-up on eBay for anything that's come out since to ensure that I actually get it.

Yeah, I don't think this will be released on physical media either. Just seems like games in this genre and on a smaller scale (2D platformers/side-scrollers) are designed for online only.

Again,not allowed to give a lot of details but... don't assume. ;)

I know I'm still waiting to hear certain details of things as much as they've been able to say to us testers but again,'don't assume.' ^-^

A physical release is planned. They've confirmed that much, publicly or outside the NDA level chats. ^-^

It sounds like the people working on this really love G.I. Joe and put a lot of passion into it.

With something like this, it seems like it would be so easy to re-skin someone as a totally different character, unless they are giving each character very unique moves, stats, etc. I hope that they do release more. It's pretty silly to say, but being able to play as the Joes (or Cobras) that I like best can make the difference in my buying this or not. For now, I'm not sure that I will based on the character line-up. Ripcord is an odd choice.
