Good lord I'd kill for a Defiant. That and the Terror Drome were dreams as a kid.
Just had the chance to pick up an almost complete Terror Drome for $200 a few months ago but was scared off by the guy saying how fragile the TD in general is these days. I'd imagine the Defiant isn't as fragile a mold as the Terror Drome is. Last edited by Blackdragon; 01-07-2025 at 04:19 PM.. |

Nah my terror drome has been solid. You just have to be careful with it since it?s almost 40 years old. I tried ordering two defiants on eBay twenty years ago and both came destroyed because those two big blue gantry doors are fragile. I alway see them cracked on eBay auctions probably because of just the size of those things.

So who makes sense for the Vamp driver? Flint would be my top choice.

I feel like, if they start doing more for the movie, wouldn't they need to be mainline releases to support a movie line? And they'd naturally come with the movie versions of Joes.
Can't see them doing TWO Transformers/GI Joe lines, with one exclusive with O-Ring and one whatever the hell they'll do with the movie one (ME return? 2.5 inch couple POA Joe figures with regular sized Transformers?) |

I like the idea of Ravage or Rumble as a Ferret ATV and Laserbeak as a Cobra Claw Maybe Frenzy as a Cobra Pogo ?
As for the effect the Gi Joe Collaborations have on Transformers : I would speculate that they are effectively taking up a second Commander Class slot. I wouldn't complain if they wanted to do something big in the way of a Gi Joe Transformers Haslab - so long as it takes up a Transformers Slot or it is in the space they give to say Ghostbusters or D&D instead. I guess the super obvious one would be a Jetfire Skystriker - but yeah the Skystriker and Haslab is a possible no go area. So I will admit I don't know.. A Rolling Thunder would be silly expensive. I guess an X-30 Conquest might be feasible though. I guess they could do an APC as a Transformer perhaps or even something outlandish like a Moray or a Whale (but again we are getting into silly money then - so that would perhaps also rule out a Bugg or Hammerhead or X-19 Phantom, Blockbuster, Detonator, Shark 9000, Parasite or Battle Wagon). The Dragonfly, or Rattler would perhaps work I guess.. but seem like they are repeating themselves a bit to much perhaps & they'd be getting a bit big - much like a Tomahawk would be a bit on the epic size perhaps. A Wolverine, Stun, Water Moccasin, Persuader, Sharc, Firebat, Skyhawk, Vamp, Stinger or Slugger wouldn't need to be a Haslab. A Bridge layer maybe ??? A Maggot Tank ??? A Havoc A Warthog A Demon Battle Corp Manta Ray would be nice (but way to obscure unfortunately) A Rage might be to small for a Haslab unless it was part of a two pack same might be a Hammer it is sort of on the cusp size wise. Thunderclap as 2 robots and a battle station accessory (The advantage of this is you get a playset for you other toys and the robots would be nicely in scale with most of the other releases and not HUGE like a robot Rattler would be say) Mean Dog (as two robots) Condor Z-25 (also as 2 robots) A Mamba Helicopter (with the pods as separate robots) Crusader Space Shuttle might work quite nicely perhaps for a Haslab Transformers Collaboration release. The Avalanche, Mobile Battle Bunker and Hurricane would work well but the later the vehicles get the riskier they get perhaps. That said I think Destro's Dominator is good Material for a triple changer design. The Earthqake would make a killer Decepticon alt mode - but is just to late in the line perhaps - which is a shame - as it would make a great alt mode for a Transformer. as would that APC with the helicopter in it. The Armour bot has "conceptual" problem being that it is already a robot - suggesting you keep the robot and give it a vehicle mode.. which would be kinda weird. //// I guess they could do a 3.75" scale Millennium Falcon Transformer - but I expect there would be all they eyebrows raised at that. Which brings us back around to the question of if they just need to go back to the old Star Wars Transformers 1/60th like scale instead and just apply that to other brands which had that different scale like Gi Joe - which they already do anyway in a way with things like Agent Knight. |

I want a new Moray more than anything. It could transform into Mirage, Dreadwing, Thunderblast. I’m sure I’m missing some deceptions that transform into boats. Scourge?
