a big turn off for me is carded figures in kickstarters. i dont want the added cost and i dont keep my figures on a card. if people want that they should pay extra for it.
oddly enough there's a new o-ring kickstarter and the figures come bagged for 22 bucks...where...carded figures are 25 bucks... i dont know what to make of this because carding the figures was supposedly such a great cost. |

We ultimately want the original 12 figures to be around for waves 2-3 as more people come on board and they want to buy some core characters without having them sold out. We might end up keeping the OG 12 in stock for the first 5 years, but just end up changing up their paint jobs to give collectors the "early bird" advantage, something to make their early commitment worth the sacrifice. That's the plan so far. It's hard to sell the world of MOTU to a new audience when you can't find Skeletor in store, etc. So we have to make these guys available to new fans. We're hoping to expand into more brick and mortar stores as time goes by and hopefully get kids playing with toys again! Wouldn't that be peachy?! Seeing a kid playing in a puddle again with a handful of toys and no screens?! That would make my day!! |

Hey Stygian. I had no idea that we met you at Joefest, you should have used your code name when we shook hands! Lol. Idk, I'd say pace yourself. No need to go broke in a panic. We're ordering quite a lot of figures.
